A two-square-kilometre stretch in Raidurg Knowledge City has generated more than ₹5,000 crore for the Telangana government through land auctions conducted over the past eight months. The revenue was generated through auctions managed by the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC).
The auctions have positioned Raidurg as one of the most valuable real estate destinations in Telangana, attracting significant interest from developers and investors.
The latest auction involved a 6.29-acre land parcel that fetched approximately ₹1,490 crore. The transaction translated to nearly ₹237 crore per acre, establishing a new benchmark for land values in the area.
The sale surpassed previous records and highlighted the growing demand for strategically located commercial land within Hyderabad’s technology corridor.
The state government's first auction in Raidurg under the current administration was conducted in October 2025. During that auction, land was sold at approximately ₹177 crore per acre, generating substantial revenue for the state.
Combined with subsequent auctions, the total collections from the area have crossed the ₹5,000 crore mark within a relatively short period.
Raidurg's location within Hyderabad's Knowledge City has contributed significantly to investor interest. The area is home to major technology and innovation institutions and enjoys strong connectivity.
According to the report, only around 10 acres of land remain available for future auctions in the area. Rising upset prices and strong bidding activity indicate continued demand for the remaining parcels.
The latest auction results further reinforce Raidurg’s status as a key commercial real estate destination within Hyderabad’s rapidly growing business corridor.
